This morning we had breakfast with Al & Jane Speyer on Inspeyered II. We hadn't been with them for some time, so it was nice to catch up. They are from Hendersonville.
We pulled out at noon and traveled 8 miles to our anchorage in the Wye East River and stayed there 2 nights. It was nice to be able to grill out again, nestled in this very small cove. In the afternoon there was a heavy storm with lots of wind, but we were in a good place.
On the 23rd we left very early. We need to get through an area called Knapps Narrows hopefully at mid-tide since it is so shallow. It is 35 miles from this anchorage, and we made it just fine..........
