11/16/16 and 11/17/16

Left early and traveled 68 miles across The Pamlico Sound. Our destination is Ocracoke, NC at Anchorage Marina. This is an old old town that I absolutely fell in love with. Found the coolest coffee shop and she makes the best muffins and scones!!! Maybe we can go back next year.
The next day we used the courtesy car and drove to the beach to scavenger for shells.........there were lots there. It was getting dark so we decided to leave, and the guys brought the car around to pick us girls up.
It died.....................we had to call the marina manager to come pick us up. He dropped us off at a neat little Italian restaurant and we walked back to the marina. Exciting, for sure..................
Markings on a shop in town of water heights of hurricanes, Matthew won!

Shop with markings.............

Isn't this cool for a small town of 500?
