Leaving River Dunes in Oriental, NC; we traveled 37 miles up the Neuse River to New Bern, NC. We stayed until 11/25 @ New Bern Grand Marina. Well, this is another wonderful town and so glad we are staying here awhile. This marina is about 2 blocks from their downtown. Lots of great shops (including coffee shops). We ate at a couple of great restaurants, and then we ate Thanksgiving dinner at another that was horrible! The worst Thanksgiving meal any of us had ever had. Oh well.......guess they can't all be the best!

This is where the spring AGLCA rendezvous will be held in April, so glad!
They had their downtown Christmas parade and tree lighting with you know who on the firetruck! An antique one, at that.................only here a week, but I could have stayed longer. Forgot to say this is the city of bears!!!
